Creative Direction Session

A 1:1 session to talk through what you are building, where you are stuck, and what you are trying to make happen. From there, I turn what we uncover into a clear creative direction and plan for what comes next.

If this sounds familiar

You have more than you think.

Maybe you already know what you want, you just have a hundred ideas and need help figuring out which ones are worth following. Or maybe you know something is not quite clicking yet, but you can not put your finger on what.

Either way, sometimes you just need someone to sit with you, hear the whole thing, and help you find the thread.

Let's find your center.

Every brand has a center. The idea everything else can come back to when you are deciding what to say, what to make, what to focus on, or what comes next. That is what we are looking for.

What people bring me

If you are working through any of this, this session is for you.

A new business, brand, or offer

You are starting something and need help figuring out the positioning, the messaging, or how to talk about what you do.

A website that needs direction

You are building or rebuilding your site and want a creative eye on the structure, messaging, and feel before you go further.

A launch or campaign

Something is about to go live and you want to make sure the creative, the messaging, and the rollout are working together.

A brand that has outgrown itself

Things are working, but the outside no longer reflects the inside. You need someone to help you see what has changed and what to do about it.

A pile of ideas

You have been collecting thoughts, screenshots, half-written plans. You need someone to help you sort through it all and find the direction.

A creative gut check

You have already made something and want honest, strategic feedback before you put it out into the world.

Frequently asked questions
How long is the session?

Up to two hours. Some sessions wrap up sooner, some use every minute. It depends on what we're working through.

Do I need to prepare anything?

You don't need to have anything polished. If you have inspiration images, notes, half-written ideas, screenshots of things you love... bring them. If all you have is a feeling and a direction you're trying to name, that's enough too.

When do I receive my deliverables?

Within two weeks of our session. I take everything we talked through and turn it into your creative direction, mood board, and plan.

What if I'm just starting and don't really have a brand yet?

That's actually one of my favorite places to start. You don't need to come in with a logo or a website or a color palette. You just need to know what you're trying to create and the goals you have in mind for it. We'll reverse engineer everything else from there.

What if I realize I need more support after the session?

A lot of people do, and that's a natural next step. If you want to keep going, we can talk about what working together on continued sessions or a larger project looks like. The session is a great way to figure out if we're a good fit for that.

Can I book this even if I already have a brand?

Yes. A lot of my sessions are with people who already have something built and just need a creative gut check, a fresh perspective, or help figuring out what comes next.

Can we meet in person?

Yes, if you're local to Sacramento, CA, or plan to be, reach out to me directly at hello@bystinafaye.com prior to booking so we can coordinate an in-person session for you.

“She asked all the right questions to get me thinking about what my business needed. I could not have asked for a more perfect partner for my branding journey and to be honest—she was WAY more than a working partner. She was an inspiration to me & my brand every step of the way.”
